Samuel Osborn Deed of Gift

The Sir Samuel Osborn Deed of Gift provides grants ranging from £250 to £1000 for applications that fall in to two main categories: education and special needs.

Sir Samuel Osborn headed one of Sheffield's great tool steelmaking families, who at their peak virtually monopolised the world's manufacture of tool steel back in the 19th century.

The fund has previously only been available to former employees or their dependants of the Osborn company (which ceased to exist in 1978), although now the fund is open to any individual resident in the city of Sheffield.

To find out more information about the fund and eligibility download the information sheet here.

If you want to make an application to the fund then download the Grant Application form and return it to Karen Alsop at the Foundation.

Feel free to ring the Grants team on 0114 242 4294 for more information on the fund.
