SYOF Legacy Fund A
9.3.11 THE SYOF Legacy Fund A being administered by the South Yorkshire Community Foundation has received an overwhelming response.
To date over 60 applications have been received totalling more than £420,000, more than double the money available.
Due to this over subscription, the independent panel judged every application strictly against satisfaction of the fund's two main priorities:
- Groups aiming to improve governance and leadership with the Third Sector.
- Groups looking to bring communities together in order to enhance their voice and capacity to influence.
A FINAL deadline has been set for applications to the SYOF Legacy Fund A.
In order to be considered for a grant, signed applications must be arrive at the SYCF office by 12 noon on Monday, March 14.
Due to the high volume of applications already received we suggest that groups ensure they meet the fund's priorities before submitting an application.
INSPIRATIONAL groups that are making a significant difference to the voluntary sector are invited to apply for a grant from the new SYOF Legacy Fund A.
Grants of £1,600 to £7,500 are available for voluntary, community or faith-based organisations based in and operating in South Yorkshire.
Priority will be given to groups and projects that aim to improve governance and leadership within the Third Sector or bring communities together in order to enhance their voice and capacity to influence.

- Training

The focus of your application should be on demonstrating how the grant will enable your organisation to make a significant difference.
