Community Foundation Day

Forget Bastille Day - from now on 14th July will be Community Foundation Day!

This year, in celebration of our 21st Birthday and 7 years of LNF funding, we will be holding a massive Gala Day at Dearne Playhouse. With activities indoors and outdoors, it promises to be a day to remember. Groups who have benefitted from LNF funding will be sharing their skills in an angling competition, a football tournament and a performance showcasing all the seeds of talent that the LNF has sown throughout South Yorkshire over the years. Community Challenge Day

Saturday 15th September

We will be holding our first Challenge Day for Doncaster, where five lucky community groups will have their dreams fulfilled! The aim of the challenge will be to link the community groups with local businesses and volunteers, who will spend the day improving the group's capacity - with the added bonus of having £1000 to spend on the day's needs. We want to mobilise an army of volunteers to see what can be done with only £1000 and a lot of goodwill, in Doncaster, in ONE DAY!

The projects could be indoors or outdoors, "makeovers" or marketing support or anything in between, but must be capable of being completed in one day in September.
